Share Your Birth Story!

From: Lena Leino

Dear Friend,

Bringing a new life into the world can be a beautiful miracle, yet can also be hard or have many difficulties. Now you can share your own birth story, and connect with others.

What did you imagine birthing your baby to be? Did you make plans? How did you prepare for your labor? How and when did your labor start?

How did it feel like, and how did you cope with all the sensations? Who were your support persons? What did you do during labor?

How do you find your birthing experience, and was it different from that what you expected or planned? What are the moments that come first into your mind when you recall birthing your baby?

Birth story of a quick and easy or long and complicated labor, home or hospital birth, natural or medicated labor and delivery, and everything in between, is important for all the other mothers- and fathers-to-be.
