Dear Lena,

though I am very very busy... I can't miss the chance to drop a few lines too, to really THANK YOU because acupressure did work, and it did it extraordinarily. No kidding.

Sunday August 3rd I was 40 week pregnant, but since my baby needed frequent monitoring due to an event of appearent bradicardy and there was no evidence at all that labor was close, I was really scared the doctors would end up induce. I was as well tired of worrying for the baby (even if the monitoring showed no evidence that any bradicardy repeated), and, last, I would wish so much that it'd be born in time for his daddy's birthday, August 9th...

On Aug.3rd itself, thus, I started regular acupressure as pointed out on your book. My husband helped me, even if I must admit I gave it a try just because I thought I had nothing to lose, and not because I believed it'd work.

Two days later I had a visit and for the first time my cervix was finally ripened! It was even starting to slightly open.

On August 6th at 4 pm I started having contractions. They started right away every 10 minutes, though I am at my first baby. I thought it was false labor, and insisted staying at home, until I finally went to hospital at 10.30 pm, to hear the midwife tell me I was already dilated 9 centimeters!! Though I had planned since the beginning to go for an epidural, I was told it was far too late and usless at that point. This scared me because I was really tired and suffering at that stage, but that was it: after only 40 minutes, my little baby was in my arms... after a labor of around 7 hours.

This mail I am writing looks like the sort of comments you find on the web to convince people buy a product... and so I don't know how to prove for me it worked for real, but I'd really wish to thank you and I'll surely talk about it to whoever might need it.
I am sure labor started thanks to acupressure, and a further proof is that it was fast and a great part was bearable, so that i even arrived at hospital late (compared to my plans..).

Never heard before of a mum at her first baby arrive at hospital dilated 9 cm !

I sincerily thank you, Lena.

Kind regards,

Hi Lena,
I had actually purchased your book for my niece. I did the acupressure suggested, and two days later she had a beautiful baby girl. I also used some pain control methods during her labor.

Thank you for having such a wonderful book available. I would highly recommend it to any pregnant woman, as well as her support circle.
I will pass on the info you just sent to her now that baby is here.

Thank you,

Hi Lena, Thanks so much for the additional gift.

Baby Austin came on Valentine's Day. Ironically, he has a small birthmark/storkbite between his top lip and nose that looks like an upside down heart.

Born at 5:15pm 8lb 3oz and 21 inches. Big boy!

Angela (my sister) and I thank you for all your kindness and great information. I have attached a pic of my beautiful lil nephew with his mommy and him in his "heart"breaker outfit right before going home. We are very proud.

Thanks again!

Hi Lena, I just wanted to thank you!! I bought your book around 1:00p.m. on 08-18-08 and started accupressure around 1:30 p.m. that same day. After two days I was slightly discouraged, but I kept on with my pressure points and on 08-21-08 at 3:07 p.m. my son was born.

My labor was only eight hours with contractions starting at five minutes apart. I couldn't believe it!! So thanks, I guess I won't be needing a refund on this product!
Keep doing what you do!

My daughter's baby was born three days after I initiated the acupressure massage.

I was in my 2nd to last week of pregnancy and I had been having very strong contraction for about a week. I was dilated 1cm for 3 weeks with these strong contraction and not making any additional progress.

So, after I cried for the millionth time, I wanted to see if there was a way to naturally induce labor. (I didn't want to do the castor oil). Like a gift from God, the maternity acupressure site kept coming up in my searches. After speaking with my husband we decided to purchase the book since we didn't have anything to loose.

He performed the acupressure on me and it really felt like a nice massage. This was a Thursday morning (like 1:30am to be exact) and my contractions had hit the fan by Friday morning (7:40 am I woke up in pain). So we go to the hospital to only get sent home again and told to walk.

Friday night, I was in full blown labor, still not dilated that much though, so my husband started doing acupressure in our room until I was able to get pain medicine.

It worked like a charm. My son was born Saturday, July 26th at 6:47 am. I don't think I would have been able to make it til the 31st, my induction date cause off all the pain I had been in for the past few weeks.

I started telling everyone I know about this whether they were pregnant or not. Your book saved me from loosing my mind. I didn't mention this before cause its gross, but, I had to deal with vomiting the entire nine months of pregnancy, including one last good puke right after I got my epidural.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!!!

Our daughter, Aspen Autumn Graham was born on 9/03/08 exactly at 12pm. I do believe the iduction pressure points worked since my wife went into labor 1 day after the last treatment.

Thank you for the great book, unfortunatly, we did have to go the the hospital due to her being prosterior. With some pain relief and some rest she turned, then arrived 100% healthy.

The midwifes were very interested in your book and really liked how user friendly it was.

Thank you

Hi Lena, just wanted to let you know that I tried your techniques on thur. night and we just got home from the hospital.(sun. night) We had a little boy. Thanks.

Your information was very helpful.

Our daughter went into labor within 2 hours of pushing on presure points. She would have been induced in less than 10 hours.

Thank you for all of your information and assistance. It defintely made your labor and delivery much easier.

My wife delivered our baby on 1/15/2008 at 1:01 PM and did an excellent job! Both Mom and Baby are in great shape!

We were able to utilize the acupressure points and relaxation points to make the process move faster and be easier. It was wonderful!

Thanks for this additional resource as it is perfect timing for my wife's recovery!

Hi Lena,

Sorry I haven't written sooner but we live in a small town with limited internet access.

We just wanted to thank you for your kind e-mails and to tell you that you can put us down as yet another success story!

We were very worried that our doctor wanted to medically induce my wife early, so we decided to try your accupressure first. Well, just like your site said, after 3 days my wife went into natural labor and had a natural delivery.

We are so thankful to you and your website, and we will certainly pass on your website to all of our friends.
Both my wife and the baby are doing great.

Thanks again,

Hi Lena,

I just wanted to give some regarding your book.

My wife was at her doctor on Monday and she was 3 cm dilated. This was her/our first child.

I started using the points on Tuesday night and all Wednesday. By Thursday Morning 1:00 contractions were very frequent 2-5 minutes and quite intense... we went to the hospital at 2:30.

The nurse does a check up to see how far along she is. She was saying that since this is her first baby more then likely she will not be far enough along and that she will be too tired at this point so they will give her something to help her sleep.

We were looking at each other and saying to ourselves "I don't think so, lets get this going" Anyway, the nurse checked and my wife was 5cm dilated and the contractions were strong and steady so they admitted her.

They were surprised she was doing so well and asked what we were doing. I mentioned the Accupressure.

At around 4-5:30 approx. she was taking a hot shower whilst I continued the accupuncture points for pain.

She went to the bed and the nurse checked again. At this point she was about 8 1/2 cm. The doctor came in to check a little later and said you are 10 at this point.

She began pushing at 6 am and the baby was born at 7 am.

Everyone was very happy and surprised at the speed of the process for her first time and the fact that she only used laughing gas for a short period.

My wife said the accupresure points really helped with the pain as well.

Anyway, thank you for a fantastic book. It really went to good use.

For 2 weeks I had false labor. I couldn't sleep anymore, I was miserable... I understand it was my body working toward labor, but I felt like I needed something to just kick it in!

I was 39 weeks and 5 days and up all night again when I decided to go ahead and purchase your book. I turned on the tv and started doing the acupressure as instructed while I watched tv from 1-2am.

At 2am I decided I would try to get some sleep, but at 3am I woke up with contractions. I tried to go back to sleep like I had all of the other nights, but this time I couldn't.

I delivered my baby girl at 7:52am, less than 7 hours after purchasing your book! Maybe it was a coincidence, but I don't think so. I truly believe that I gave my body the natural and safe stimulus it needed to get going. I labored and delivered AT HOME with NO DRUGS, and would say that my labor was EASY, possibly due to the acupressure.

Oh, and one last final note: My baby had been posterior but after doing the acupressure, about an hour into labor, she turned and I suffered no back labor.

Thank you so much for offering info on this safe and natural alternative to induction!

I'm the great-aunt and my neice did not want to be induced. At 2 o'clock we were following your advice to induce her labor naturally, by 11:30 p.m. her water broke and Tanner was born at 2:30 a.m. Thanks a bunch.

Hi Lena,

Thank you for your emails. We are doing great. I actually had my son, Julian, 3 days after my husband administered the acupressure on me. I actually went to the hospital with 7cm of dilation. I'm glad we got there in time to get the epidural... lol. I'm so grateful to have found out about your book, it was very helpful and i will pass on your website to mothers-to-be that i know. Thanks again for everything.

Hi Lena,

Sorry I haven't responded to you, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl on March 6 and I did it vaginally this time, without induction, and I believe I have you and your books to thank!!! Although I did have an epidural, I did go without one up until I was about 5cm dilated. The back pain was just so unbearable. What did help me get that far though were the pain relief accupoints, particularly the Three Yin Crossing points.

About the bonus gift, yes I did get it and I actually have read it in between breastfeeding. I did have a minor tear, and the tucks pads that you suggested actually soothe the area quite nicely. Thank you Lena for all of your books and bonus gifts, your website is one I will definitely pass on!!!!!

Warmest Wishes and thanks again,
Suzie

Sharee gave birth to a baby boy yesterday(13/3/08) and all is well. She used the pressure points thing again, the night before and thankfully now its all over..

My other daughter is due in June so the book willget passed on but this other daughter usually has prem babies so we dont want her using acupressure unless she does a differetn thing and goes full time.

Regards,
Carol Cunningham (the proud grandmother)

Lena,

I just wanted to let you know that my birthing expeirence was great using the accupressure points. I worked on them for about a week before going into labor.

The day i started my contractions i also worked on them, which made my contractions very bearable and pain free. When i finally decided to go to the hospital, it was because i just wanted to make sure i really was in labor, because i was having contractions but they were not regular and 15-20 min apart. When i got there they checked to see if i was dialated and i was already 6 cm, I was sooooo excited i could cry.

With my other children i had to be induced so i was so thankfull for your help. I love your system, i have shared it with so many expecting friend, and i recommend it to anybody.

Thank You
and God Bless You

Lucy

Thank you for the for the books that I have downloaded (excellent idea to be able to do that). We started using the acupressure points and they did start contractions going!

Just a note to thank you for your useful tips and your book on labour acupressure techniques.

You will be delighted to hear that it worked and I found it terrific. I used the techniques to induce labour. I was due last Monday 6th August and I tried the acupressure movements on Sunday night the 5th August and again on Monday night 6th August. My husband performed the acupressure on me and hey presto I went into labour myself the following morning Tuesday 7th August at 10.00am.

I am convinced it was the acupressure that made it all happen. Not only that we tried out a few of the dilation techniques to help me to dilate and progress into labour more quickly. Although I started to have labour pains at 10.00 am Tuesday morning, I bided my time at home for as long as possible and when the pain was at the stage of being unbearable, I headed into hospital.

I headed into the hospital at 8.30pm on Tuesday night and was disappointed when they informed me that I was only 2cm dilated. But shortly after that, things really began to move along, as within the space of less than 3 hours, I had dilated to 5cm and within the space of half an hour after that again, I had dilated further to 8cm, at which point I got the epidural and my waters were then broken.

I was fully dilated by 2.45am and was ready to push. But because I had just received the epidural, they needed to reduce the epidural to allow me to feel the contractions myself as to when to push. So they left me for an hour to allow the epidural to wear off. By 3.45am, it was time to push and just after an hour of hard pushing, my little girl was born at 4.52am on Wednesday 8th August.

To be honest I found the pushing experience the hardest. The midwives and consultant told me that as a first labour, my dilation process was very quick and that I was blessed and should be even quicker when it comes to subsequent pregnancies and labour. I put this down again to the labour acupressure techniques.

I just wanted to thank you for the great advice and I don't think I would have had the same outcome without it. By the way, my little girl weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs and 7 ozs and we called her Alice.

Thank you once again.

Kindest Regards
~Olivia~

I went into labor around 3 in the morning... my contractions were every 3 minutes apart and got stronger with every one. When the doctors checked me I was only at 3... not willing to give me any meds for pain, I reylied on acupressure to take off the edge on my pain.

My husband rubbing my ankles was the only thing that brought me some sort of comfert, same with eating ice. I went from 3 to a complete 10 in 40 minutes. Acupressure did bring comfort during the time I thought nothing would. :) THANKS AGAIN!

Thanks for the wonderful book. It really did work. I was labor for about 30 min. Great Book. I would recommend to any new mom. Thanks again.

Thank you, thank you!

My daughter was 38 weeks pregnant with her second child and was in diagnosed pre-labour for some 4-5 days. A medical induction was proposed for 12 days later.

I (her Mum) applied most of the acupressure points applicable to inducing labour every 2-3 hours. At first we didn't think it was doing any good, but the day before my daughter went into active labour she could feel the contractions were working with her both during and after acupressure. Exactly 3 days after acupressure commenced she delivered a healthy 7lb 13oz baby boy. She also found the acupressure point (lower back) both relieving and comforting during her first stage of labour in hospital.

My daughter didn't require any drugs during her 4 hour labour, and had a smooth transitional normal delivery.

We would both recommend acupressure to induce labour and aid during the labour process and would not hesitate to use it again should the need arise.

Again, thank you.

Hi Lena, I'm very well thank you!

We used the tecniques suggested for pain relief in labour and found them very helpful and put at great ease, no other pain relief needed !!!!

I am now busy busy busy breastfeeding on demand and have just managed a spare ten mins to say a big thank you to you for your books and your kindness.

-Margaret Chalmers, UK-

Hi Lena,

I tried the method on your video on Friday, January 11, 2008 and on Sunday, January 13th, my water broke. On Tuesday, January 14th, I had my son, Julian J.

Thank you!

A million thank you's to you for your techniques - my daughter was born on October 23 and my husband used the techniques much to my comfort and relaxation. I never got to use the induction methods though ... ;). During labor, we found pressing the acupressure points underneath the foot soles extremely effective, as it helped to focus on the breathing as well as keeping feelings of panic and anxiety away.

We used this technique a lot because I had an urge to push at a very early stage during labor and had to cope with these contractions for three hours before allowed to push. The point on the right side of my little toe was also an effective pain reducer, as well as pressing the points around the coccyx.

I strongly recommend these techniques to any couple who are in synch with each other.

I could not have done without labor acupressure! I was suffering from extremely slow early labor, my cervix wasn't dilating. It was painful and I wasn't making progress with my labor...

My hubby found your guide in the Net and after browsing it he started to treat some points that you told to be helpful. And they were!

When we went to the hospital I was SO relieved to hear that I was 5cm open... We used acupressure at the hospital too. I took some gas, but not the epidural, because acupressure halved the pain. The method was easy to learn and meant that my hubby got to do something very useful.
